All of our oil lamps are designed for exclusive use with paraffin-free, natural-based lamp oils such as STYX NATUREL from Gottfried Schmalfuss .

According to the manufacturer, natural-based lamp oils are not dangerous for children (no "H304" or "R65" labeling necessary, see information on the respective manufacturer's websites such as www.schmalfuss.de)

ATTENTION: DO NOT USE PARAFFIN OIL OR OTHER OIL MARKED H304 and/or R65!!!!

BE SURE TO FOLLOW THE LAMP OIL MANUFACTURER'S SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS ON THE BOTTLE

Paraffin-free lamp oils are now available everywhere (e.g. STYX naturel, Dr. Burchard's Bioöl, Flash from Boomex) and are offered in clear bottles.

Since 2012, oils containing paraffin have only been allowed to be sold in black bottles. DO NOT USE THESE.

Conventional lamp oils do not meet EN14085 child safety requirements when used with our products. Therefore, only paraffin-free lamp oils that are not marked with the hazard warning H304 or R65 may be used.

Be sure to follow the safety instructions on our leaflets and those of the lamp oil manufacturers.

Lamp oil and oil-filled or burning oil lamps must always be kept out of the reach of children and may only be operated in safe locations and under constant supervision.
