Bird Feeder and Bath VHT-4-RH

For our bird snack VHT-4 in Corten steel*, we have now created a version for hanging on branches. Instead of the stainless steel rod, we include an approximately 1.8 m long plastic-coated stainless steel rope with this birdhouse. This is attached to a sufficiently strong branch using two carabiner hooks. The feeding station can then be hung up.

The removable, easy-to-clean porcelain bowls are filled with food and water. In addition to food, there is also something available for refreshment. And if you prefer fat balls, your wish will also be satisfied. Additionally, a suet ball can be placed in the top of the birdhouse.

This bird feeder is available in brushed stainless steel or Corten steel

Once the rusting process is complete, it blends aesthetically into its surroundings between branches, leaves and twigs without appearing intrusive.

The parts we deliver are already somewhat pre-rusted. The rusting process of Corten steel takes around 2 years to complete, but depending on the weather, it soon produces a beautiful oxide layer, often referred to as patina. A particularly dense barrier layer forms underneath this, which protects against further corrosion and thus against rain, snow and frost.

Information and advice on Corten steel

A fat ball can be hung in the middle. There are two small recesses in the roof area for this. To do this, use a thin cord or the stainless steel hook included in the optional starter set.
