Over time, the Corten steel used develops a characteristic, lively-looking, rusty surface, which acts as a protective layer to prevent further rusting through the material. The parts we deliver are already somewhat rusty. The rusting process can be accelerated by spraying with water more often. Otherwise the process occurs through the repeated drying of rain and condensation water.

A discarded soup plate can serve as a feeding trough. Or you can order the porcelain bowl shown in the photos here. This is not part of the normal scope of delivery, but can be ordered as an optional accessory below.

The size of the birdhouse allows you to set up another shallow vessel with water (a deep saucer, for example) as a drinker in addition to a porcelain bowl.

A food dumpling that can be hung in the ground from below ensures even more guests at the feed house. Protected from rain and snow, it not only attracts titmice and sparrows.
