A bird feeding station with bird bath that fills itself when it rains

A large roof fills the bird bath with water and protects the food from getting wet.

At this bird feeding station we have a symbiosis of bird bath and feeding place

The roof of this modern stainless steel bird house is bent so that it catches water and directs it into a porcelain bowl. Even in light rain, it allows the drops to flow into a large porcelain bowl. The bird bath fills itself.

At the same time, the large roof protects the bird food adequately from moisture and snow due to its size.

The sloping roof of this birdhouse fills a large porcelain bowl with water when it rains.

All leading ornithologists recommend feeding the birds even in the warmer seasons. The need for nutrients is particularly high during the rearing period of young birds and birds need our help. The death of insects does the rest. However, the drought continues in many regions of Germany. Not only agriculture, but also allotment gardeners often wait longingly for rain. In addition to plants and trees, birds in particular are also affected by the lack of water.

Bird baths and bird feeders can help here. Ideal if both are offered together in one product, like this combined bird snack. Ideal if it fills with water even when it rains.

Modern, linear design is combined with nature here: a branch (available optionally) can be inserted into two holes provided and serves as a landing aid for our feathered friends. A hanging suet ball attracts even more visitors.

The porcelain bowl made by Arzberg is of course removable, making it easy to clean. Resting on a high stainless steel rod, this feeder protects the birds from overly hungry cats.

We do not make this birdhouse in Corten steel as we cannot be sure that no rust particles will be washed into the porcelain bowl. The evaporation of rainwater could lead to a very high concentration of rust particles in the water. We do not know to what extent these can have an impact on the health of the birds.
